The Womens Center in Redmond of Central Oregon, provide a women's health medical clinic serving Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Madras, Sisters, Terrebonne and all outlying towns in Central Oregon. The Women's Center of Central Oregon with Susan Gorman MD offers comprehensive health care for women of all ages. The Women's Center and Dr. Susan Gorman, MD, OB/GYN, specialize in reproductive health and share office space with four other health care providers – family health practitioner, cosmetic surgeon, family and individual counselor, psychiatrist – to provide Central Oregon women and the women's center patients with complete care for their body, mind, spirit and family.

Dr. Susan Gorman's Medical Training and Background

Susan Gorman MD is a Board Certified Gynecologist and has been practicing medicine for more than 15 years. Dr. Gorman is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Susan Gorman is also a member of the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, trained and certified to perform the medical field's gold standard bone density screening. Dr. Susan Gorman is currently the only surgeon in Central Oregon offering the Novasure ablation in office and Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH).

Dr. Susan Gorman has the help of nurse Amy McElroy

Amy McElroy FNP knew she wanted to be a nurse in the field of women's health long before she received her BA and MA in Nursing. An overwhelming desire to help others combined with a passion for science led Amy McElroy to take nursing classes as an undergraduate at Oregon State University, after which she attended Oregon Health Sciences University to complete her BS in Nursing. Not content with just a BS, Amy went on to complete her Masters degree in Nursing at Wasington State University.

Womens Center services include women's annual exam, pap smears, colposcopies, colposcopy, std screening, novasure, novasure ablations, laparoscopic supercervial hysterectomies, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomies, annual women's wellness exam, contraceptive counseling, heavy bleeding treatments, osteoporosis and bone density scans, and infertility treatments, to name a few.
