Infertility Treatments

Our inferility treatment program is customized to your individual situation. It starts with an initial consult with Dr. Gorman to obtain your medical history and to identify areas of concern that may be contributing to your fertility problems.

Next will be various lab tests, including possible semen analysis of your partner. Depending on the results of the lab tests, Dr. Gorman may prescribe a fertility drug to stimulate your ovaries to mature an egg. This is usually followed by a lab test to determine if you are ovulating. If you are not ovulating, Dr. Gorman may increase your medication or order a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test/ This is an x-ray procedure to determine if your fallopian tubes are functioning properly. Depending on the results of the HSG, you may be asked to come in for a follicle check. This entails an ultrasound in the office which may be followed by an injection of a hormone to stimulate ovulation.

If you still do not become pregnant, we can offer an intrauterine insemination. Your partner will give us a sperm sample and Dr. Gorman will inject the sperm into your uterus.
